Background

Mr. Olson graduated from Pomona College (1962), and Harvard Law School (1965), and was a teaching fellow at Stanford Law School (1965-66). He was Los Angeles County Deputy County Counsel, Schools Division 1968-69 and a partner of Halstead, Baker & Olson from 1969-95. Mr. Olson was one of four founding members of BOLD Law, and as of 2023 he is the founder of EJOlsonLaw.

Professional Activities

Mr. Olson is active in a variety of local and civic activities, including, but not limited to: Pasadena Rotary, formerly Downtown Glendale Business Association (Director), Los Angeles County Bar Association (Founding Director of LACBA Credit Union, now merged into Southland Credit Union), Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, and Fiduciary Round Table.

Mr. Olson is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court; US District Courts for the Northern, Southern (now Central), and Southern and Eastern Districts of California, Ninth and Tenth Circuits, US Supreme Court, and US Tax Court.
